Week 10 Tuesday Notes

Darren Mcfadden does not look like a strong candidate to play Thursday night after missing the Week 9 game and not participating on Monday. Since it is a short week keep an eye on his participation reports today and tomorrow.

Miles Austin has been ruled out this week and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with an injured right hamstring. Laurent Robinson becomes a solid play in his absence and has proven he can contribute to your fantasy team.

Curtis Painter was benched last week and his status as a starter is in question after Dan Orlovsky took over for him. The Colts are going nowhere and Painter has actually gotten worse with each passing week. They may roll with Orlovsky one more time just to see if he is able to provide a spark.

Muhamed Massaquoi is also not looking like a good option after exiting with a head injury (concussion). The NFL is cracking down on teams in an effort to make them more conservative when players deal with the injury so expect him to miss week 10.

Dallas Clark left last week with a leg issue but has been nearly irrelevant as it is. He shouldn’t be in your starting lineup regardless and now has this to deal with.

The Lions signed Kevin Smith this week which pretty much signals Jahvid Best is far from returning anytime soon.

Ryan Mathews did take part in Monday’s walk through but is still far from a go for Thursday. Like McFadden, we will have to see what his participation is the next two days.

It looks like Houstonwill finally get Andre Johnson back this week after working out on Monday. As if this offense needed to get any better.

It also looks like Felix Jones will be back on the field week 10 but he is at best in a time share situation with the production of Demarco Murray.

Greg Salas is done for the season after fracturing his fibula and Danario Alexander is questionable too with hamstring issues. This would be as good a week as any for Mark Clayton to be activated.
