QBs on the Move? Arizona/Minnesota/Miami?

Fantasyfootball is over except for those die hards like myself and my idol over at razzball Doc. Doc put a niece piece together today about Tony Homo. However, my article today will be about the QBs on the move. Certain teams are in need a of a QB. If fact once they get a QB they become instant contenders.

Vikings– I am so confident in this franchise I’m betting on them to win the Superbowl when I go to Vegas this summer. All this team needs is a QB. Tavaris Jackson and Joe Webb are not the answer however. If they are able to obtain a damaged, wounded, Vince Young they will contend. We don’t need a super stud here. That is what AP is for. All you need is a QB with a touch of mobility and an accurate arm. One could argue that Young isn’t that. However, I think he would fit perfect in that system and he wouldn’t have to be “the man” with that veteran group. Another option is the ancient Jon Kitna. I know, I know, he would be another 40 something QB. However, he did show me enough with his run with Dallas to believe he has got a year left in his tank. Remember, all the Vikings need is a game manager. With Leslie Frazier as their new Head Coach they are going to stick close to his philosophies- Defense and ball control. A strategy that worked very well for the Jets and Steelers.

Cardinals– I have a man crush on two coaches- Jon “Chuckie” Gruden and Ken Whisenhunt. Both are balls out coaches. Whisenhunt did everything in his power this year to win. He played musical chairs with his QBs. Problem was all his QBs just didn’t have it. I’m a Philly boy and it is a foregone conclusion that Kevin Kolb  is outta here! Rumor on the blogosphere today is that a legit destination would be Arizona. We all know that Larry Fitzgerald  is on the record for wantin Kolb. Some may argue Donovan McNabb  is a more natural fit. I watched 12 seasons of McNabb and I believe the writing is on the wall. McNabbs best days are behind him. If Arizona can snag Kolb I think they are a lock to win that pathetic division.

Dolphins– Chad Henne is not the answer. Bill Parcells has realized this. The problem is I have no idea who they are going to go after. Parcells made the bold move and went after Brandon Marshall. He didn’t pay all that money to not get the ball to Marshall. Especially, in the competitive AFC East. Lets hope that Pennington hangs it up and doesn’t try a Favrelike return.
