Play it Safe

For those of you on the fringe of making the playoffs—- play it safe!I’m in your boat in two leagues. I need to win to get in. I could try and get cute and start a Derek Hagan or Terrence Austin but the odds of success here are like winning the lottery. Typically I am a full on advocate of being aggressive. Today, I’m giving into caution.

If your team is on the bubble the best advice I can give is to go with what got ya there. My exception is LT. I’m benching him as I did last week for Moreno. Moreno is playing incredibly well and I am taking his upside over LT’s. As predicted LT is fading for Shonne Green. This is par for  the fantasy course. Most aging backs begin to tail off and allow their younger counterparts to play towards the end of the season. Most coaches actually game plan this way so they can rest their “aging stud” for the actual NFL playoffs.

Unless your “core guys” have a horrific matchup I recommend going with your core. Feel free to ask matchup questions on the comments section. If there is any week we all need help its this week with playoff implications hanging in the balance. I’ll be back later today with my Jacoby Ford analysis. For some unknown reason one of my readers has a fetish with him.
