Vivacious Vick!!

Michael Vick broke all kinds of records last night scoring 6 TDs while looking unstoppable. If you are the lucky owner who possesses him you are feeling mighty confident. He is a fantasy game changer the likes of Chris Johnson last year and AP 2 years ago. Players like this don’t come along everyday. Josh Freeman has been a success this year. Last week he scored 20 pts. That is NOTHING compared to Vick’s 59 point performance. Vick enables fantasy players to overcome deficiencies at other positions. That is why I am proposing a VERY non conventional approach.

It is hard to trade a QB for a elite skill position player. But if you are deficient at RB you may consider leveraging Vick for an elite option. What is elite? CJ, AP, Foster, or Gore. If you can leverage Vick for one of those players then I say PULL the trigger. Especially if your backup is a Freeman, Orton, or Ryan. This strategy isn’t for the faint of heart and is CONTROVERSAL. Sometimes being too aggressive is moronic. Yes, I am calling myself a moron. But sometimes the moronic plays work out…food for thought 🙂

—–Scotty is blogging today so we should feel honored to experience his fantasy advice. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to blog about Michael Vick’s amazing and inspirational performance and the possible fantasy implications as we approach the final week of trades.
