The Titan Fantasy Machine

When a fantasy player hears the word “Titans” they immediately think of Chris Johnson. Chris Johnson is still a fantasy machine and a top 3 back in the NFL but he has become wildly inconsistent in fantasy play. I’d still gamble and trade for him if you have an owner that is getting a bit antsy with his antics.

Kenny Britt was the MAN this week. Britt was CJ and CJ was Britt. Of course I mean in terms of fantasy play. Britt gets the fantasy game ball of the week. He didn’t play in the first quarter because of his bar fight. He made up for that by scoring 3 TDS with 225 yards receiving. He had 47.5 fantasy points in traditional PPR leagues. I didn’t even think Britt would play this week because of his childish bar behavior. I thought Gage was going to have the advantage this week but he took a nose dive to remain in fantasy irrelevance with a fantasy GOOSE EGG!

Lets not forget to mention the Titan’s Defense. They have been a fantasy standout this year. They had 17 points today and they are averaging 13 points a game. Granted this isn’t Pitt D numbers but for a waiver wire D this is VERY VERY respectable.

Another aspect of the Titans that has surprised me is QB play. Collins put up 276 yards with 3 TDs and 2 picks. Very good waiver wire QB play. Vince Young when behind center has also been successful.

Bottom line – I doubt that Britt will repeat this performance but he has scored at least 1 TD in 3 straight games. Britt is worthy of a WR2/3 start the rest of the way. Titans D is startable the rest of the year and CJ is CJ. Never give up on one of the best backs in the NFL.
