Be Sly. Sell High.

The hardest thing a fantasy footballer can do is move a player while he is hot. It takes cahoonies to move a guy you think can help you win a Championship. But, hey, that’s how I roll. Here are 5 guys I think have peaked and encourage you to move for a tasty return:

Philip Rivers – Vincent Jackson is coming back in Week 12?  Who carees?  Yes, Old Man Rivers has been playing out of his mind and ditto Antonio Gates. But Gates is banged up. While he is resting back to health, Ryan Matthews is fresh as a daisy. I expect the Charges to pick up their running game creating a much more balanced offensive attack.

LaDanian Tomlison – I don’t think anyone expected LT to have his second coming with the Jets. He has looked good, real good, but don’t expect him to keep it up. LT’s brittle body is bound to break down and even if it doesn’t, it’s a certainty that as the Jets will try to conserve his best stuff for the playoffs – something the Chargers never seemed to do. Expect Shonne Greene to reap the benefits.

Arian Foster – Call me crazy, but I don’t trust this guy or more accurately I don’t trust Kubiak. It doesn’t seem that long ago that another Texas running back by the name of Steve Slaton came into the league by storm only to fizzle into oblivion. Maybe I’m just bitter because I unloaded Foster for Sidney Rice. Heck, I know I am. But I think Foster’s stock is through the roof and is due to plummet any day now.

Roy Williams – If you expected Dez Bryant to swoop in and from Day 1 and become a Pro Bowl on his first play of the game, you don’t have a clue. Like a fine wine (or juice box) green receivers take time to blossom. Williams is playing for his job and thus far hasn’t disappointed. Nevertheless Bryant’s breakout is coming and when it does Williams will be the odd man out. Buh-bye.

Dwayne Bowe – Bowe owners who say him light the Texans for a gallizon yards on Sunday are probably thinking their guy finally had his breakout game. Don’t be fooled. Expect Bowe to have another pretty game against the dreadful Jaguars. Enjoy and then shop him to the first sucker who thinks Bowe has finally turned a corner.
