Waiver Wire MILK DUD of the Week- Mark Clayton

I have written many positive pieces about Mark Clayton. Heck, I grabbed him off waivers before his performance in my keeper league. This week however he is matching up against Nnamdi Asomugha. I guarantee he will not have a repeat performance. I lean towards Clayton being a possible flex play in week 3 against Washington. Rams Gab feels the same way just read this piece if you doubt the GREAT FLUKIE. Rams Gab also did a foray into the “Rams” Fantasy production. Worth a gander if you own some Rams players. But AC will be depressed- there is no mention of his man crush Danny Amendola. This is a HUGE oversight. If I had to pick a WR of value to play in week 2 for STL my fantasy play would be Amendola.

Vjax’s won his appeal today. For our sake I hope he lands with the Vikings and not the Rams. He will be more productive with the Vikings. Trust me! While on the Vikes be aware that Percy Harvin has a bruised thigh. He will play on Sunday but I wonder if he will have his same breakaway¬†acceleration.

Kareem Huggins has a “hammy” issue and most likely won’t play this week. I’m still a HUGE HUGGY BEAR FAN but this is not his week. Caddy plays well against CAR so I don’t see Huggy being needed anyway. Don’t worry Huggy’s time will come this year you just need to have some patience. We are only going into week 2.

Jabar Gaffney is my boy but¬†this week but I’m putting him on the shelf in favor of Santana Moss. Moss is going to have a FANTASTIC week against a pathetically soft Houston pass defense. I’m higher on Moss then I was on Hightower last week. That my fluksters should tell you something. If you own Santana Moss start him with confidence.

Don’t sour on Malcolm Floyd. He will rebound this week. With 12 looks he is an integral part of their offense. There is enough room for Floyd, Naanee, and Gates to all have solid fantasy numbers.

On a completely random note….Derek Jeter has got to stop acting like a p***y “faking” being hit by a pitch. That’s the kind of crap you do in grade school. When is MLB going to learn instant replay is required in 2010. The NFL embraced it! The NBA has embraced it! The NHL has embraced it! MLB get the “bleep” on the bus.

Danny Amendolla and Mike Thomas are PPR SUPERSTARS. We have Wes Welker to thank for this. With guys like Collie,Edelman, Steve Smith NYG also paving the way. PPR SuperStars might not get all the glitz and glamore but they do get you the most important thing in Fantasy consistent solid points. If you got a PPR Superstar in your league pick him up now they wont dissapoint you.

Perhaps the first thing you said this year I 100% agree w. AC…..a good PPR player you can grab on the cheap is Davonne Bess- nothing fancy but guarenteed 10-12 points a week.
