Straight Guys Like Johnson Too.

With respect to Flukie, while I recommend zigging when others are zagging, fooling around with the number one pick is not a time to get cute. It’s a no brainer: Chris Johnson should be the consensus number one pick in your fantasy draft. The next three running backs – AP, Ray Rice, and MJD are a tossup. But if I am forced to assign an order, I give the slight nod to AP as the second best back, followed by Ray Rice (assuming you are in a PPR league), and Jones-Drew at number four.

Jeers to the Fantasy Flukie for not going out on a limb with his bust selections. I give my reader(s) the benefit of the doubt that they will clear of players who are either (a) recovering from major surgery, (b) sitting out a large portion of the season and (c) are a year or two away from collecting social security.

While Flukie choose Shonn Greene as his “lightening running back” (whatever the hell that means), I predict the overhyped Jet will be the biggest bust of 2010 (in PPR leagues). Does Flukie know how many receptions Greene received in 2009? Try a big fat ZERO. Take that fact combined with this one — LT was signed primarily to vulture touchdowns — and you have a big problem for Greene who will need to rack up huge yardage to be a significant access. Let’s not also forget that Greene only ran for 100 yards ONCE all regular season. Make no mistake, Greene will put up respectful numbers, but if you plan on picking him in the first two rounds in a PPR league, you will be disappointed.

Who do like Better Jamal Charles or Jonthan stewart for this year?

    Slats,

I think Charles will be overrated in drafts, but compared to The Stew, he is still in charge.

Nice to see your still writing. I have been away on business for a while but had to tell you that this article title is superb.
