This is the time of year fantasy junkies like myself spend searching through the misfits. All types of articles come out that talk about this unknown player or that player that did nothing last year but will breakout. So here at the Gab I am here to give you and Zach this misfit news.

Chad Jackson WR BUF – He was out of football entirely last year. Was drafted by King Belichick himself a couple years ago. He is a physical specimen at 6’1 215lbs. Alas he didn’t stick in the NFL  but Buffalo is desperate to find someone to line up opposite of Lee Evans. Heck, if your in a keeper league and short at WR he might be worth a roster spot. At least through preseason to see if he lands the starting job. I have a soft spot for Buffalo but not for Chad Jackson.

Brian Robinske WR CLE – I have spoken about him in previous posts. He is the #2 in Cleveland. Who knows what he will do. A total crapshoot in my eyes but has upside. Granted that upside isn’t much above my ankle.

David Gettis WR CAR – To be honest I did not hear of him until www.fftoolbox.composted about him. They claim that he is one of 3 rookie receivers competing for time in Carolina. He will be nothing of value this year but down the road there could be potential. He ain’t know Brandon LaFell who will be starting opposite of Steve Smith when the season starts.

James Jones WR GB – I have already sung his praises. He is going to breakout this year because they are already pouring the dirt over Driver in Green Bay. Coach McCarthy is high on Jones. Coach claims he was the best player during the OTAs. Granted he got reps with the first team with Driver’s injury. I have Jones in my keeper league. I have HIGH hopes as the great Harry Kalas would have said.

Justin Forsett RB SEA – I’m not a Forset fan but www.fftoolbox.comis reporting that he is the favorite of Coach Carroll. Being the favorite has to mean something. They haven’t named the starter  so I’m holding onto Julius Jones hoping he will still have value. Hate to say it but Forsett has the inside track and the stats to back it up.

Larry Johson RB WAS – Rumor on the street in Washington is that Larry Johnson is going be given EVERY opportunity to beat out Portis for the starting gig. The starter really doesn’t matter in WAS. We all know that Coach Shananhan is the musical chair master at the RB position. Let’s just hope the LJ gets the goal line carries.

If any other misfits come to the forefront I’ll be in touch…flukie out!

I swear I am your only reader! No one ever comments on any article and what happened to your other writer, Pachman?

  4. fantasy flukie says:

Well Zach it is the offseason traffic is typically light. As for Pachman you know how it goes…it is hard to find good help these days!

  5. Isles Guru says:

Zach, Flukie thinks I am you! Can you give a little background info to prove your existence as the sole reader of fantasyfootballgab.com?

Fantasy Fluke, I always hated Zach in High school ever since he stole Kelly Capowlski away from me. What do you think about Javon Ringer as a handcuff to Chris Johnson? I know that Seth has him ranked in his 4th Tier (Running Backs: Handcuff Hierarchy ) do you think that is too high or just about right?

  7. AC Slater says:

Jacoby Ford is the next Small stud fast super star reciever. Top 10, 2011 sleeper pick. Top 20 reciever in 2011. Take the Fluckie
