Quick Waiver Grabs

Three WR’s that could help you during bye week replacements are Mike Thomas, Sammie Stroughter, and Malcolm Floyd. I have to give football.razzball.com props because both Thomas and Stroughter were not on my radar at all. Obviously if you are a hard core fantasy player Floyd became an obvious pickup after Chambers was cut. Rivers LOVES the deep ball and now Floyd will benefit from that fetish. JacksonĀ is the man in SD but Floyd will turn into a nice sidekick down the stretch.

Mike Thomas flew under the radar. His targets are increasing and as Holt gets one step closer to the grave it looks as though Thomas is filling in. A great sleeper grab to get for the stretch run. I’m not sure that Sims-Walker will keep up his torrid pace so Thomas is DEFINATELY worth a grab. Once I reviewed his stats I picked him up immediately!

Sammie Stroughter is one hell of a wild card on a horrible pathetic team. That being the case if you are in a keeper league (like myself) he is worth a grab. He had 21 and 12 points the last two weeks and Josh Johnson is in love with him. The love reminds me of the infatuation of Romo and Witten early in their careers. The bad news is that Johnson lost his job to Freeman so who knows what the 8 ball says about Sammie. I still rolled the dice and picked him up. It is like throwing darts at the wall. But those darts still stick sometimes.

On a RB note Ryan Moats might be the real deal down the stretch. But if you follow my writing you know RB ain’t my thang!
