Dennis Northcut the Fantasy Play of the Week

Dennis Northcutt is worth a spot start this week. Megatron isn’t playing and Culpepper is the QB. At this point Culpepper is the more competent and experienced QB. Northcutt did well last week and I plan on that trend continuing. I am so confident in him that I am benching Colston in one league and Caldwell in another to play Northcutt. Colston has a brutal match up this week with the NYG’s and I don’t feel that he will have a break out game. I see multiple check downs to Reggie Bush in the flat. This play could burn me but you have to gamble in this game to be successful and I’m due for some luck coming off of a 0-5 week. In the future however Northcutt holds no value so only pick him up if you have room on your roster. Caldwell has much more of an upside now that he is the #2 in Cincy. Caldwell is also worth stashing away in a keeper league.

Northcutt is only owned in 4% of sportsline. So he is available in almost every league. I know I blew the call with Anderson and Furrey last week but I have the utmost confidence in this pick
