Start The Claytons!!

So tomorrow is D DAY- fantasy football week 2. Is your team for real? or is it a fluke? In 24 hours we will know the answer. Here is a tip, start the Claytons! Michael Clayton is the #1 WR this week in TB. Yes, it is TB but Byron Leftwich has to throw the ball somewhere. They have to attempt to have some semblance of a passing game to give the broken down ole’ Cadillac a chance to run. Bryant didn’t even make the trip with the team so Michael Clayton¬†is it. Last week he had 8 catches for 93 yards and I see this trend continuing with a TD. I picked him off waiver and I am starting him in my TD only league. Mark Clayton looked good for BAL last week. He had 5 catches for 77 yards and a TD. This trend also will continue with Flacco being allowed to throw this year. Flacco has a gun of an arm and Mason is still his posession receiver. But Mason isn’t a deep threat at this stage of his career (semi-retirement). Clayton is currently the deep threat option for Flacco. Pay attention though as the season progresses Kelly Washington may become another deep threat option. Feel confident to start the Claytons this week and don’t forget the flukie told ya first!

Ahmad Bradshaw is also a great play this week. He is the ying to Jacob’s yang. Dallas gave up 174 yards on the ground last week to Cadillac and company. If they gave up that much yardage to TB can you imagine what they will give up to a great running team like the NYG? The NYG will easily have 200 yards running on the ground and will spoil the home opener for the Cowgirls! I am so confident in Bradshaw I started him over Reggie Bush in my PPR league. Have confidence to start both NYG RB’s this week and don’t listen to the guru on cbssportsline.com!

I also recommend Harvin (matchup), Garcon (super sleeper), L Robinson (STL will be down so he will get the ball), Bruce (SF has to move the chains) as what I call deep sleeper WR starts!

Nate Burleson isn’t a sleeper but is a rock solid start if you were able to grab him off waivers!

Chester Taylor is also a safe play this week against DET. Peterson will have 200 yards this week and 2 TDs. That being said there should be enough sloppy seconds for Taylor to get 50-60 yards and a TD in garbage time!

If you need any last minute advice Sunday morning I will have my laptop on. Just give me a shout out!
