Injury update

Injuries are part of fantasy football. It’s early on yet but a few relevant injuries happened this weekend. Matt Cassel injured two ligaments in his knee and has a sprained ankle. I doubt Cassel was a starter on any one’s roster but if he was a possible bye week replacement for you I would consider dropping him now. I am not a fan of his backup Tyler Thigpen. This is good news for Larry Johnson owners because KC will be forced to lean on the running attack until Cassel returns.
Jerious Norwood also injured his knee. No word yet on how serious but I interpret no news as bad news. If you have Michael Turner you may want to pay close attention to Snelling who is next on the depth chart. If you are as evil as myself you may just pick up Snelling to have trade leverage if Turner goes down later this year.
Other then those two injuries the only outside concern I have is Roy Williams. He should be ok for the start of the year but because he is a touch banged up I might pickup Miles Austin off waivers if he wasn’t drafted. He is playing the #2 WR and has deep ball potential.
I finished my 2nd auction league which is also a keeper. I will review the results and have some tips later today. Stay tuned!
